We successfully treat patients with controlled diabetes and other medical conditions every day. The key factor is stability, not just the diagnosis. If your condition is well-managed, you’re likely a candidate. If it’s not, we will address that first. This is medicine, not guesswork.
Can smokers or vapors be treated?
Smoking and vaping significantly increase the risk of implant complications, slower healing, and long-term failure. Can smokers still be treated? Yes — but we plan carefully, we manage expectations, and we strongly encourage reducing or quitting. Implants are not a good match for uncontrolled habits.
Do I need a CT scan or X-rays?
