Pre-treatment 3D CBCT reconstruction demonstrating severely compromised remaining dentition.
CLINICAL FINDINGS
Mark presented with a severely compromised dentition characterized by extensive maxillary tooth loss, multiple remaining structurally compromised teeth, and significant loss of posterior dental support. The 3D CBCT reconstruction demonstrates an irregular distribution of the remaining dentition with substantial areas of edentulous space, resulting in diminished function, stability, and support.
The extent of tooth loss and condition of the remaining teeth required a comprehensive full-mouth treatment approach rather than isolated tooth replacement. Treatment planning focused on creating predictable full-arch support, re-establishing proper function and occlusion, and developing appropriate tooth position and proportions for the final restoration.
